I'm a budget solo traveler and the value for the money is excellent (I was given a large room for the same price as a smaller one and was pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities). The room was quite clean although it's always difficult to keep floors clean in dry season here because of wind and dust. Bugs weren't an issue (insects are part of everyday life here, so if you're squeamish don't visit CR!). The property has nice communal spaces as well. There's a beautiful river nearby to swim in and I highly recommend the La Leona waterfall tour! Lastly, the owner was really nice and very helpful.

The fridge needed a good cleaning and there were only extremely bright ceiling lights. But I knew this from other reviews so I brought a portable light (I love my Luminaid!).

Amazing place and space. Quiet, clean, freindly, beautful environment. They made us a breackfast for 4000 colones each. WE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK HERE AGAIN

Everything Hot water showers, clean beds, big rooms, quiet space , good lighting. GREAT OUTSIDE SPACES

It was a quick stopover for the waterfalls. The room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. A couple of restaurants within walking distance . Basic but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money!
