Great location to visit the Rincon de la Vieja park and La Leona Waterfall. Very close drive from Liberia. We stayed for 2 nights to hike in the park. The lodge has a very nice garden area. They were accommodating about a late night check in. The room was clean with hot water in the shower. This is quite a basic type of accommodation which is what we expected.

It was a bit hot to sleep without AC but there is a ceiling fan.

The unit we rented was with a nice private terrace. The owner is very nice.

No AC. Some crawlers in unit, lizards etc. It's in nature so I guess it's normal. Room is very basic, not all types of plates are available in four.

"Beautiful stay near rincon de la vieja"

The host was adorable, the garden was beautiful with lots of installations No kitchen but barbecues and fridges Great soda right in front of the lodge and about 30min drive to rincon de la vieja sector las pailas

A few ants in the room so don't leave your food in the room
