Host was very positive and always accommodate requests. Very convenient and comfortable place for us . Enjoyed the extras he had for us , like fruit and water and snacks. Host also provided complimentary breakfast.

The location is on top of a hill and the balcony room has a gorgeous view to wake up to! The property is spacious and the owner was very friendly and even cooked us breakfast! A great experience if you are open to a more traditional Bed & Breakfast! We rented out two rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs - everyone absolutely loved it!

My friends and I accidentally discovered the Hilltop Hacienda online during our trip in mid-December 2024. It is located on the top of a hill with a particularly good view. It is very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset in the morning and evening. It's affordable and has multiple rooms to choose from, suitable for couples or singles, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It has all the daily necessities you need,The most noteworthy thing is the owner of the manor, who is very warm and friendly. He not only provides the living room, kitchen, and dining room, but also provides free food. You can enjoy all the food in the refrigerator in the kitchen, including eggs laid by cage-free chickens on the farm. There are also first aid and commonly used medicines in the cabinet. All in all, we felt strongly at home from the moment we walked in the door. Although our stay was short, Hilltop Hacienda left us with warm and comfortable memories. We all expressed our willingness to visit again, and we must arrange to stay a few more days. Thank you, Hilltop Hacienda!

This destination is more for couples than it is for children. I had reservations, it took me over an hour to find it due to the fact that it was dark out. There were no signs or lights to guide you there. I finally called the owner, Roman & he guided me in. He is currently undergoing renovations. I had my 9 year old Granddaughter with me. Roman was a very nice nice man. I have to say none of this review has nothing to do with him personally. But, I had no idea that we would be staying in his home, upstairs. I thought they were small cabins. Once he went down stairs my Granddaughter got upset, she was scared to stay in someone's home. We left and got a room elsewhere. But, like I said, it's not his fault that my Granddaughter was scared, he was very kind. We couldn't see the entire property because it was so dark out. I'm sure this place would've worked out wonderfully if it was my husband and I going. I think he needs to have lightning at his entrance and a sign & I also think he needs more lightning outdoors. I didn't get a full refund, but I am still waiting for my 50% refund.

Lovely location - loved seeing the deer and chickens. And made to feel right at home by the hosts, including great waffles for breakfast. A true slice of Texas.

I like the balcony of the main room upstairs. You can sit outside and watch the sun rise.
