The Cloud Resort

The Cloud Resort is a hidden gem in Kandy, offering breathtaking SUN RISE views from the chalets. Each morning of myb3 night stay I was greeted by stunning panoramas of misty mountains, making for a serene start to the day. The accommodations are beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with local charm, and the private terrace / deck was a perfect spot to feel the 1st rays of the sun.The food was a highlight, featuring a delicious variety of local and international dishes, with a particularly impressive breakfast spread. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring a wonderful experience. In summary, The Cloud Resort is a must-visit for those seeking tranquility, great food, and outstanding service. I left feeling rejuvenated. Highly recommended...!!!

Excellent view, friendly staff.

An unforgettable view. This is one of the most memorable places we’ve stayed because the view is truly stunning. Watching the sun rise over the Kandyan hills with the sounds of the jungle and the chanting of the monks from the nearby monastery was a highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka. The staff can’t do enough for you and the breakfast was very good.

The only slight negative is that the property is described as luxury, but it doesn’t quite reach luxury status in practice (just some of the finer details are missing). The main thing was there are lots of ants and insects (it didn’t bother us too much but not what you would expect at a luxury resort). It’s still definitely worth the price though because the view and location is so unique.

View was good, food tasted good.

Except the view, nothing to talk about. However the price is exorbitant and on par with star hotels with full service and amenities.

Everything was great

The view is just out of this world. Great place for the escape to the nature and fresh air. The host, Inthizar made our trip smooth with all small details being organised including transportation, suggestions of place to visit and small hike to the breathtaking view point. I work in hospitality and I was so surprised to receive such a great personalised service. I highly recommend to visit The Cloud - memorable staycation guaranteed!

Hard for driver to find, Google Maps did not work. It's really in nature so lots of ants and bugs, but thankfully no mosquitoes!
