Location and staff were amazing.

Stunning view at a beautiful location; A cosy villa on a mountain side with amazing service and top quality fresh food served to the room! Our host was very kind to take us on a small hike to a stunning location to see the beautiful sunset over the mountains! The host was very accommodating for our early check out and made us feel very welcome. Please note the land is under development with improvements coming in the very near future. No WiFi or TV but it’s not needed with the stunning views. Tip: Food is a must to try! The chef is amazing. Expect some insects. The property is In the middle of the forest and mountains Non-alcoholic

Inthazar and his team are simply world class. My wife and I decided to stay at their beautiful resort for 2 nights and 3 days and what an incredible experience. Food was unbelievably good, service was fantastic and well, the views speak for themselves. This location was easily the most relaxed my husband and I were all trip and would recommend to anyone thats passing through Sri Lanka that wants to fully disconnect for a few days. There is literally fresh herbs and spices when youre walking to your room and all the rooms are fairly seperated so you feel like you own the place. I hope to come back in this life time with more of my family so they can experience this as well. World class establishment.

This was by far the best stay and experience in Sri Lanka, and could we go back in time we would stay at least a week! It’s one of those magical places where time stops, mind detaches and you don’t need anything else. The resort is in an incredible place, the views all around are just stunning, and waking up to this, opening your eyes in the morning and seeing a whole glazed wall overlooking the greenest valley whilst hearing birds sing and breathing the cleanest air… is simply priceless! The cabin is stylish, designed to modern standards and yet with a strong connection to the Sri Lankan nature and soul, spacious and clean. Service is impeccable, we were served breakfast and dinner in our room at the requested time (on the dot!), and staff was always around to help. Food was incredible, every breakfast and dinner was different and delicious, with the freshest ingredients, and we had the chance to try some local fruits/dishes/drinks we had never tried before! But to us it’s the people that make a place memorable and the Cloud Resort is no exception. Inthizar and his brother are incredible hosts, not only are they the kindest people, their professionalism, experience and knowledge shows in everything they do. From the moment we stepped out of the car we were treated like very special guests, Inthizar welcomed us personally together with other members of staff, and spent time to show us around the resort, explain all the different plants on the property, and tell us the story of how everything started. It is unbelievable to think that every little detail of this place was conceived and realised by Inthizar and his family, but it definitely shows because this place has a soul like no other. The same day we were taken for a walk through the tea plantations and to a rock with a breathtaking view at sunset where locals were launching kites, which was a simple and yet magical moment.

Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. Close to Kandy, but a quiet location with amazing views. Inthizar was an amazing host, and helped us maximize our short stay.

Amazing setting, the views are stunning! The villas are beatiful, great facilities and the owners are incredibly helpful! We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back!!
