Waterside Retreat With Hot Tub

Stylish modern property, the master bedroom had a lovely en-suite and walk in wardrobe. A high spec finish and all the mod cons. An amazing stay.

Could not really fault it.

Spotlessly clean and warm, lovely location, very quiet even though there were lots of lodges occupied.

No iron or hairdryer provided. Hot tub could do with an area to hang towels.

We really liked our stay like home from home It smelled beautiful too, everything there we needed

On the website it was stated that there wasn't any WiFi so we left our gadgets at home

Superb stay in a beautiful location. The lodge itself was decorated to a high standard, clean and functional with plenty of storage space. The beds were extremely comfortable and bedding of good quality and the hot tub was an absolute delight. We stayed for two nights, check in isn’t until 4pm which, for the price, I had expected to be a little earlier, and check out at 10. Amenities were great, the bonus of coffee machine with pods provided was very welcome, my only very slight grumble was the salt and pepper pots were empty as was the sugar. Obviously it’s self catering so we brought plenty of food but didn’t think to bring seasoning so would have been nice to have some provided. Everything else has been thought of, from washing up liquid to hairdryer, towels and cleaning products. The restaurant/ bar onsite is welcoming and cocktails delicious. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.

Amazing surroundings with easy access to York and Scarborough. The Lodge was first class, as home from home with e erything we needed and more. The hot tub was an added bonus.

The only downside was that on arrival there was dishes in the dishwasher and the Ayr fryer hadn't been cleaned.

very minimal necessities provided, if you are thinking of going you need to bring your own soaps, toilet paper, etc.
