Orangutan Bungalow

Das Personal dort war extrem freundlich, dabei hatten wir vorrangig mit Rizky, dem Rezeptionist, Kontakt. Preis/Leistung absolut spitze. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Lage war herausragend. Man muss zwar 15 Minuten wandern und über eine Hängebrücke laufen, aber dann kommt man in einem kleinen Paradies an. Am Rand vom Dschungel, völlige Ruhe, schöne Aussicht und schöne Anlage. Absolut empfehlenswert! Dort haben wir die 2-Tagestour durch den Dschungel gebucht. Robin und Dijan waren dabei unsere Top-Guides. Sehr freundlich, Lustig und wir hatten eine super Zeit. Die Tour ist herausfordernd und anstrengend, aber es hat sich total gelohnt. Wir haben mehrere Orangutan s, Siamangs, Thomas Leaf Monkey und viele weitere Affen gesehen, darunter auch Babyaffen 😍 Während der Dschungeltour hervorragend versorgt - wirklich. Sowohl Frühstück, Mittagessen als auch Abendessen waren sehr lecker und ausgewogen. Zusätzlich gab es zwischendurch Snacks in Form von Fruchtplatten mit Ananas, Drachenfrucht, Orange, Snakefruit, Banane, Melone etc. So viel konnten wir fast nicht essen. Die Anlage sowie der Tour sind absolute Empfehlungen. Man ist dort in einer eigenen kleinen Welt. Wir waren absolut begeistert!

Bei der Toilette im Bad im Bungalow, waren die Klobrillen stark abgenutzt, so dass sie sehr dreckig aussehen. Auch wenn sie eigentlich sauber sind. Bei der Übernachtung im Dschungel hat man, sobald das eigene Wasser ausgegangen ist, abgekochtes bekommen. Gemäß den Umständen schmeckt es auch nach dem Rauch vom Feuer auf dem es gekocht wurde. Unsere Empfehlung hier, nehmt Brausetabletten mit (z.B. Magnesium) dann schmeckt das auch okay.

Incredible place, right on the edge of the jungle - monkeys in tree outside the window if you like that. A decent hike (~15-20 mins, many steps) to get there but very worth it for that level of isolation and comfort Comfy beds, cheap and tasty kitchen, very helpful staff

The location is utterly amazing. Bungalow was clean and cosy. Staff are wonderful. Riski thanks for your kindness. I did a jungle trek with Dino and Farrell which was utterly fab. One of the best treks I’ve done. Guides were knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The food on the trek was amazing too. Thanks all.

Fui con una amiga y nuestra estancia en Orangutan Bungalow fue simplemente inmejorable. Desde el primer momento el personal nos hizo sentir como en casa, con una atención cercana y amable, como si fuéramos parte de su familia. Las cabañas son muy bonitas, limpias y cómodas, con mosquitera incluida. Aunque solo pasamos una noche antes del trekking, descansamos de maravilla. El alojamiento está situado justo al lado de la entrada al parque, lo cual es muy práctico (desde Bukit Lawang son unos 10–15 minutos de subida, que luego te ahorras el día de la excursión). Contratamos con ellos el trekking de 2 días y 1 noche en la selva, y fue una de las mejores experiencias de nuestras vidas. A pesar de que llegamos bastante tarde (sobre las 9:30 de la noche), nuestro guía Rubén nos estaba esperando para acompañarnos hasta el alojamiento, explicarnos los detalles de la excursión y, además, nos prepararon una deliciosa cena aunque era muy tarde ya que no habíamos comido. Un detalle que agradecimos muchísimo. Durante la caminata vimos todo tipo de animales, y en todo momento nos sorprendieron con abundante comida y fruta fresca, riquísima y presentada con mucho cariño. Rubén fue un guía excepcional: divertido, atento y siempre pendiente de hacernos reír y de que disfrutáramos al máximo. El mejor guía del mundo! Añadir que también nos guardaron las mochilas durante el trekking y, al terminar, nos las acercaron directamente al punto donde llegas en rafting por el río de vuelta a Bukit Lawang. La organización fue perfecta de principio a fin. De corazón, muchísimas gracias por todo. Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable y sin duda volveríamos a repetir. Cristina y Mar.
