The best views I have ever seen. Wether on the deck or the lawn the mountain views are spectacular.

The views are absolutely spectacular — sweeping landscapes that instantly make you forget the chaos of the city. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, breathe in the fresh air, and simply be present in nature. Whether you’re watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee or taking in the stars at night, there’s a sense of calm and clarity that only a place like this can offer. The place is rustic yet very well taken care of, with breathtaking views stretching all the way to Tzaneen Dam, plus a lovely viewing deck and swimming pool that make the experience even more special.

Far from shops, so be prepared in terms of food and anything you need. The area is remote and peaceful, perfect for those who want to disconnect, but make sure you bring enough supplies because there aren’t any nearby stores or restaurants. Once you’re settled in, the quiet surroundings and natural beauty make it well worth the effort.

We loved the clean sheets, hot showers, warm fireplace, daily cleaning services, beautiful gardens, and breathtaking views. Johannes and Maria were absolutely wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The snug little cottage was perfect.

A small part of the road getting into Diggersrest poses a little challenge when it rains. The owner has assured that there are plans to improve the road for wet conditions.
