Sun Lake

Lovely location with nice on site restaurant. Super friendly and helpful owners/managers. Less busy than Lake Kawaguchiko area while maintaining easy access via Green Line bus.

It is a rustic cabin so spiders and other bugs may well be part of the experience. I wish the cabin had direct view of the lake but that view is just a 30 second walk away.

The owner is very attentive and helpful

although unrelated to the hostel service, the location of it is very far from any groceries store

The cabin is lovely and in an amazing location.

It’s definitely a spot for warmer months. With the heaters on, we were able to get warm but as soon as they were off it got very cold (we were there in January)

Check-in process was smooth. The lady was really friendly and helpful.

The beds did not look clean, there was a huge bug in the toilet. A fly swatter was hanging by the door, I guess they have had to deal with multiple complaints of insects/bugs. The heating was insufficient for the huge room. There were three small (but strong) heaters that each person could sit with. The heaters, however, do not looked like they have been cleaned in the past one year.
