Lovely spot and taka is a great guy. Very well organised and set up place. The Onsen's are great. Highly recommend.

Helpful and friendly host that took good care of us and recommended ski resorts/restaurants. There are two private onsen in the property to have a proper bath after a full day of snowboarding/skiing. And the breakfast was amazing as well

Super nice couple runs the place. They are very helpful. The homemade bread and muffins for breakfast are exceptionally tasty

They use a kerosine heater to heat the sitting area (which is very nice and cosy). This heater produces a nasty smell and the fumes are very unhealthy and spread through the whole building. It should not be used in a closed indoors area. .

Beautiful homestay by Taka and his wife. We had a twin share with a private bathroom. This was the option available on booking as it was Snow Machine event. The reverse cycle worked well. Bathroom tiny. But water nice and hot . Onsen downstairs , not natural. But lovely. The streets around Echoland are STUNNING. Food in the area are more tourist pricing. Ie burger $25AU. There is On Demand Taxi for Day @$3AU & Night services @ $5AU. DL the app. The BIG supermarket 25 min walk or use on demand. Washer/dryer is here, i.e., $10AU for 6kg washed n dried. No detergent is needed. Breakfast is DELICIOUS & wholesome. Try the housemaid cereal, muffins/scolls & bread. Convenience store 5 mun walk away. We caught a taxi from bus station which was $25AU I think. Hosts are EXTREMELY obliging. Genuinely nice people.
