Sigiri Lake Paradise

This place is truly a paradise, I can’t recommend it enough!!

A paradise by the lake is right. Between the kindness of our host, the incredible food and the most beautiful setting, our stay here for 2 nights was just blissful. The nature and peace is just incredible.

The wifi didn’t work at all.

Ontzettend lieve mensen die je graag willen helpen. Een familielid heeft ons naar het dorpje gebracht en ‘s avonds weer opgehaald, omdat we het niet fijn vonden om de eerste avond met onze tuktuk over het donkere pad te rijden. De kamer is heel knus, schattig ingericht en op een prachtige plek in de natuur. ‘s Ochtends word je wakker met fijne diergeluiden. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en gevarieerd. Ongelofelijk verblijf voor deze prijs.

De weg naar de accommodatie is vrij hobbelig en onverlicht. Het is vrij ver om naar het dorpje te lopen (in de omgeving is niks) en PickMe-chauffeurs willen helaas ook niet ophalen daar. Daarnaast spoelde onze wc niet door en werkte de wifi helaas niet.

Nichts

Absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our stay, the view was just stunning and the hospitality we received was more than we could ever ask for. Forever grateful for such a wonderful stay, would love to return.

Beautiful view over the lake and the Lion Rock, with all kinds of animals around (even elephants might come close!). Host is super friendly and provided delicious dinner. She also arranged our safari in Hurulu Eco Park, which was great.

The curtains couldn't be closed completely, but this was no problem for us as we were the only guests and hosts respected our privacy. Keep in mind that due to its natural location, you might find some small animals inside the room, but also this was no problem for us.

Prachtig verblijf gehad in een hele rustige en natuurrijke omgeving. De kamer met uitzicht op de bergen is echt waanzinnig. De Lion Rock kun je vanaf je 'eigen' rots naast het verblijf zien. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn superlief en heel behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk en ze hebben zelfs een heerlijke curry voor ons gemaakt. Ook met een tuktuk is het prima te bereiken, ondanks dat het een stukje offroad is op het einde.
