Sigiri Lake Paradise

Sigiri Lake Paradise was absolutely amazing. the hosts went above and beyond for us with a village tour and cooking breakfast and dinner at times that worked for us. the views and location were stunning, the bathroom and bedroom were very clean and a really good size.

As the name of the place says, it's a real paradise, in front of the lake with a view on the Lion's rock! We had the chance to cook some traditional food with the family! If you're lucky you will see the Peacocks dancing for you at sunset! Magical place...

Mold on the ceiling (which seems to be a common issue in Sri Lanka). The dinner is very tasty but overpriced, and they even charge extra for bottled water. The biggest issue, though, was when it came time to pay. We noticed the price was higher than what was stated on Booking.com, and when we pointed it out, the host got pretty angry. All the friendliness we had experienced before was suddenly gone, which made us feel really uncomfortable in the end.

Chambre super jolie et propre. Petit-déjeuner et repas du soir délicieux, tout était préparé avec soin. Propriétaires très gentils et serviables. La dame nous a organisé le tuktuk et taxi a un prix raisonnable. Guest house localisée au calme au bord d'un lac avec vue sur Lion's rock. Rapport qualité-prix très bon pour la région.

Le lieu est un peu retiré du centre, donc ou prévoir un scooter ou tuktuk. Si pas, vous demandez à la dame d'organiser les tuktuk et c'est facile

We slept in the newest house. It was beautiful, clean and spacious. Unfortunately we could not have breakfast outside due to bad weather so it was in the open kitchen of the owner. The owner is very sweet, helpful and the food is fantastic.

Accommodation is very far from Sigiriya. Keep that in mind. In the evening it is more difficult to get there with a tuktuk because of elephants. Keep that in mind.

Le personnel est très accueillant et souriant, les repas sont typiques, préparés devant nous, et délicieux !

Il ne faut pas avoir peur des insectes dans les chambres, mais des moustiquaires sont prévus à cet effet !

Beautiful place surrounded by stunning nature! We had a very nice little house with lake view to our selves. The hosts very super nice and their dogs too ☺️

Wahrscheinlich das leckerste Essen was wir auf unserer Reise genießen durften. Die normalen Cabanas sind sehr einfach. Unglaublich herzliche Menschen.

We zijn hier 3 nachten geweest en het was écht geweldig. Een prachtig verblijf met veel ramen en een mooie inrichting en badkamer. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en bereiden de lekkerste authentieke gerechten met verse producten uit de buurt of uit eigen tuin. Het verblijf ligt aan het water met een uitzicht op Lion Rock. Beter gaat het niet worden. Ons beste verblijf in Sri Lanka!
