Pool for adults wasnt working

The accomodation was basic but comfortable and clean . Tranquil and peaceful surroundings lends to it's rustic seaside ambience , away from the urban hustle and bustle.

The bed definitely needs to be changed. My body was sore .The mattress was very badly worn out

Air conditioning was great. Bath water was always hot except for 1 day when it was cut off.

The shower head was not good at all, it was old and needed to be changed. The bathroom door was broken and couldn't close properly and also the bathroom itself was rather too small.

Staff attitude especially the reception lady, very unpleasant. The receptionist called us while we were on the way to ask the time of my arrival. She stated on the call that the kitchen would be closing at 20h00 and she let me know that because I was bringing kids with ages zero, only one super would be catered for. I told her that could have been a mistake I proceeded to tell her the ages of my children and told her that I didn’t mind paying for their food for the rest of the stay. We arrived and she was so fixated in the fact that I had booked for two kids and didn’t put ages, she mentioned it again and as a result that was the welcome we got. She didn’t tell us about what amenities we could enjoy at the resort, if they have Wi-Fi or not ( that she only told us when my son asked as we left the room),breakfast times etc. I’m not sure why this was a problem for the receptionist because I was still the one paying for the food anyway. I don’t know if this attitude from the receptionist was transferred to the kitchen staff because we were served burnt food that my son didn’t even eat. The very nice waitress apologized for the food and because of her I could let that one go. Because the receptionist never told us about breakfast times I thought breakfast ended at 11h00. She sent me a message at 10h04 asking if I had forgotten about breakfast, I told her we running late n asked what time it ends. She said it ends at 09h00 and that the only reason she was asking was because she didn’t see my slip. They could prepare n check the rooms before the guests come and not fix things right infront of the guests. She took us to a room that had an unpleasant smell… and she also seemed clueless as what was going on then rooms had to be changed while we waited at the restaurant. When we arrive tell us about the property and what to expect especially if there are amenities like the pool and kids play area etc, let’s not hear that from the waitress but from the receptionist.
