Port St Johns River Lodge

Location - on the main street and in a peaceful area Easily accessible even during the night

Reception was not pleasant. Unprofessional for the reception desk to be left unattended. There was no one to attend to us for a few minutes and when she came she first attended to kids that were there for photocopies. Not considerate when allocating rooms, that is, in terms of age. Rooms that are only accessible through stairs should be allocated to elders through choice.

The staff were amazing, and so friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was great as well. Service was the best, and the they went over and beyond! The accommodation was great as well, the views, beautiful.

Location is perfect.

The lady Lucia was absolutely rude and very unprofessional. She has NO people skills and lack communication skills. She was extremely rude to us and our kids.She mentioned to our kids not to enter anyone else unit. I mean our kids are thought this at home by us parents. She refused to sell our kids cooldrinks and energade stating it's against her believes. Overall the accommodation is deteriorating at PSJ River Lodge. Not like before. We had no hot water most of the time. The geyser kept on tripping according to Lucia who seemed very irritated everytime we called to state we have no hot water.
