Berehaven Lodge

We were thrilled to discover that our Lodge was so close to the water’s edge. It was such a fabulous surprise particularly as we were fortunate enough to enjoy the extraordinary weather of last week. The supervisor Natalie was a delight to deal with. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return.

The only criticism we would make is that the bath in the main bathroom which appeared to be a jacuzzi - didn’t work.

Great location with excellent views. Both house and grounds very well maintained and well equipped.. Ample parking. Gold star to Natalie for best hospitality I've ever encountered- she was so helpful and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed.

The lodges are beautiful, surrounded by mature gardens, lovely view over the water, ideal break from the hustle of everyday life. Quite and secluded but close to Castletownbere.

Overall I wasn't disappointed, check out is early, 10am but understandable to allow for the next guests arriving.

The beds

Leaking tap. We were disappointed to find a kitchen tap that was leaking because we had read in the previous reviews about a leaking tap. The expectations were to find it fixed. We are not sure whether the reviews are taken serious or it's just a formality.
