Berehaven Lodge

Communication was great. The lodge was well appointed and spacious. Beds were comfortable. The setting was beautiful.

I appreciate that January is an ideal time for maintenance but the house had been recently repainted and it smelt very strongly of gloss paint. This prevented me from sleeping and I was unhappy about it because it's not good for you to inhale chemicals all night long. The property should ensure sufficient time is left between painting and then accommodating guests to ensure the paint is dry and there is no fumes or smell.

Very comfy stay in Berehaven Lodge. Clean, warm, and amazing location.

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of space. It was quick to heat if you were visiting in cooler months. Staff were very responsive with clear instructions. Showers were decent. Couch was big enough to fit our party of four. Easy access parking for the lodges.

Unfortunately we had really bad weather which restricted us to the house. We had planned for this being Ireland but the tv was so old and not a smart tv we were unable to use netflix etc. It's a self catering apartment however it would be nice if some basics were provided such as general cleaning supplies, salt & pepper, matches for the fire, as we were only staying for a short visit. We could not get the bottom oven to work and one of the lights in the sitting room didn't work either. Overall though it was grand just pack board games so the tv doesn't disappoint on the wet days

It's my third time. I love this place. You can order a jacuzzi at extra cost which is amazing. The Internet is very fast which is important when you work remote. The house has all what you need. Sheila is amazing host.

The location was perfect, within easy reach of the town. The lodge had a beautiful view. It was a very good size, comfortable and had almost everything you needed. It was a bit tired but felt like home. I liked that we could use the fire and bring our own Christmas tree. Sheila is very helpful.

Could have had a couple of baking trays but managed ok.
