Berehaven Lodge

The lodge was clean spacious and in a really beautiful setting. It is well situated, being close to Castletownbere and with easy access to many hiking routes.

It would have been good if the restaurant had been open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge; it was exceptionally serene and impeccably clean. Sheila provided outstandingly accommodating and responsive service. It had every amenity you needed for a family.

Would have been good to have a limited mobility bathroom on the ground floor

Kitchen facilities and utensils were in very poor condition with some unable, rendering the cooking facilities not good value for the money paid

Fabulous destination for touring West Cork. Also thanks to Sheila, having downstairs bathroom.

Lack of care for property, outside especially, cobwebs & flies on windows beside entrance to our house. Also restaurant/Bar closed from Sunday to Friday, out of season, not told when booking. No staff around to request extra towels, eventually got some on Thursday, 2 days before leaving. Very expensive for what we got, stayed in nicer places & better cared for in Ireland for a lot less!

Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable.

Needs a little bit of maintenance.
