Lakeside Villa

This lovely villa and gardens, just 3.5 miles from Cottage Grove and 30 minutes from Eugene, provide a unique sense of serenity, a great escape from the rest of the world.

The home is a wonderful retreat from the everyday life of staying at other hotels/motels /provate residencenses...This home is very spectaculoar. You will want to stay here again. The owners are living theree and welcome you with open arms. VEry very nice meds and a lovely place to stay for families or just individuals like me! The grounds are spectacular but the infidivual rooms are so comborting. Don't stay in Eugene....stay here in Cottage Grove and Enjoy Life!!!

The hosts were beautiful people. The grounds were out of this world!

Magical evening for my husband and I, beautiful evening away from the city.. room was beautiful, loved the heated heating pad. Coming back when the garden blooms.

Dust affected my allergies and asthma. Bed was a little hard. Bedding needs updated, and maybe breakfast offered for the price of the room would be nice.

Beautiful, quiet setting with a lot of creative details around the mosaic garden within the villa's courtyard. It was winter so the gardens were dormant but I'm sure in the warmer months it is fantastic! The house itself and the room were lovely. The bed was comfortable. My sister enjoyed the included sauna. Steve and Vera were extremely friendly. This is their home that they built to accommodate their large extended family and also some guests. The house was big enough that I didn't feel like we were in their space and vice versa. We were the only guests at the time but I could see how it could be quite lively if the place was full with some well though-out shared areas with games, piano etc.

There was a basic Keurig coffee set-up for the morning. I would have loved a ceramic mug and fresh half-and-half instead of the individual serving creamer cups. My only other suggestion would be for some upgraded bath products (shampoo, conditioner etc).

The location and the management was Amazing!

Location was very special.

Exact directions could have been sent a few days earlier. Google Map couldn't find the address correctly. Although Google Map on my son's Android did find it. Go figure!
