Cheetah Ridge Lodge

The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful! We loved the family suite we stayed with 4 adults and 1 baby. The rooms were a great set up, with a living room included and huge balcony overlooking the pool area in the main lodge. The spa staff were also fantastic, we went back every day for a massage.

Great ranger knowledge made for an educational trip, his 4WD skills were fantastic and the accommodations for one of our group members mobility issues was appreciated.

The timing of the drives during January could have been better adjusted to fit the sunrise/sunset times. Leaving at 5:30am for morning drives, and afternoon drives from 4:30pm - 7pm meant missing part of the premium windows for seeing active predators. It would have been good to have flexibility around these times - e.g. starting at 4:30am in time for sunrise, and leaving at 5:30 or 6pm (or even later), or even the option for night drives to have the opportunity to see nocturnal animals.

The Farmhouse staff were absolutely amazing- we had all our needs taken care of! Thank you to Mr Brown for taking such good care of us! The Safari drives were fantastic! We saw all the animals up close and personal! Brandon was just the best guide ever! Thank you from all of us for making our stay just the best ever!

Absolutely nothing

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In terms of service delivery they were excellent. The game drives were wonderful, we saw all of the big 5 and having your own dedicated game ranger made the experience very personable. The food and drinks in the all inclusive option was excellent and the staff take great care into making sure whatever you wanted or needed is taken care of. Our accommodation overlooked the watering hole and on our last day, about 12 Giraffe were spotted around, which was really special. My wife and I went to Cheetah ridge by chance as we had a wedding to attend in the area, we wanted to recharge and reset - Cheetah ridge was perfect and is a hidden Gem, well worth the effort and the price.

The facilities were mostly suited to relaxing and recharging - would've loved if there was a gym or lifestyle center etc, would open the door to staying for longer periods. As I understand they are busy building a gym/fitness center and should be done in 2025. Lastly the Wifi in our room wasn't the greatest, and we needed to go to the main center for a video call.

It’s rare for accommodation to exceed my expectations but this did. Cheetah Ridge service and attention to detail is on par if not better than any 5-star establishment I’ve visited. The staff are exceptional, the property is welcoming and comfortable and the value for money is excellent!

The only suggestion I have is to add some umbrellas to the pool area and maybe a few more outdoor couches to relax under the trees. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
