Cheetah Ridge Lodge

Everything. Setting, accomodation, staff, game drives, were all amazing. As a Vegan, I wasn't expecting a great deal in the way of meal choices, but they were amazing and the food was exceptional.

Beautiful location

We had the most amazing few days at Cheetah ridge! The game drives were fantastic, we saw so many animals while also learning new things and just generally having a great time. The rooms were beautiful with a great view of the watering hole, it was lovely watching the animals from our balcony. Our food was so lovely and the range of drinks available impressive. The attention to detail, service and care from all the staff at the lodge was truly amazing and we can’t wait to come back in the future! Thank you!

Cheetah ridge is a beautiful lodge with fantastic facilities, the staff were friendly, catered to every request. The dam the lodge looks over had hippo in it, no need to go far for game viewing! The beds were comfortable, the aircon in the room worked well, there’s also a fire for those cold nights. The range of wines and whiskies was great! We were able to try quite a few new brands we’d never experienced and the staff made a lot of effort with serving us. Dinner was fantastic, one of the best steaks I have ever had!

Honestly, the only (minor) issue we had was our torch to get back to our room was fading and we couldn’t see much but it was fine!

The service received from the team of staff was not just professional but super welcoming, relaxed and all we're made to feel like lifelong friends. Our guide was such a star - knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make our visit and game drives super fun, educational and really exciting and productive - big thanks Ryan!
