Sakka Sanso

What a lovely stay! The location was really convenient if you plan on skiing since its a short walk to the happo one ski resort and/or to the shuttle bus stop that takes you to other resorts around hakuba. Clean rooms and really good service! What stood out though and made our stay exceptional and unique was the lady/owner that is usually also at the reception. She was so kind and helpful, trying all her best to provide us with any information we needed, did everything in her power to fulfill our requests or needs, always with a smile and a good attitute and in general made us feel like home! Highly recommended stay with everything you need and more in Hakuba!

The only thing that we might note is the breakfast, not because it wasn't good, we understand that its traditional food, but it wasnt really what we expected. They did have a couple of other options to choose from that did make it fine but maybe having some other main breakfast options might make it a better experience. But thats definitely not a point that affected the stay negatively!

This accomodation is really amazing, the women who owns the place is really nice, and not only picked us up from the bus station but also drove us back there for our bus to kyoto at night time. The food is really good and the rooms are so cute in the traditional japanese style. The best, the onsen is free to use for 1h, which we loved!
