Ella Rock Grun Cottage

Wonderful Hotel in the middle of nature, right next to some great hiking paths. The excellent service as well as the amazing food, clean and beautiful room and careing personal make this place a location that we would definitely come back to and strongly recommend for everybody m, who wants a nice and quiet place, right outside of Ella. Thank you guys very much 🙏

The guys were super kind and caring with us! Breakfast was very generous! Place very clean. The sound of the river made the place more special if possible! I highly recommend it! :)

One of my best stay in Sri Lanka ! The room and bathroom was very clean with kettle, tea and coffee. Right next to the river with little waterfalls, the place is stunning ! Located at the bottom of Ella's Rock trail only 35 min walk from the guesthouse. The staff is so lovely and will help you for everything you need, really polite and so nice ! The breakfast is delicious, I had diner twice and the Kottu is very yummy :) The guest house is located out of town so you have to go out of the train at Kithalella and then walk along the railway or call the staff and they will come to pick you up. Or you can get out in Ella train station but the Tuk Tuk is quite expensive to reach the guesthouse. It was such a beautiful walk along the railway to go to Ella, tea plantations & waterfall I really enjoyed it ! Thank you for this beautiful stay.

Location is really good if you'd like to go to the Ella Rock. The view is also beautiful.

Staff hospitality is extreamly good , verry friendly , Food they offer tasty & value for money .
