The bed was comfortable - the location was quiet

Confusing communication after we booked regarding which unit we wanted. Owner had a warm greeting but was strongly cautioned about 1. Keeping food smells from the kitchenette out of the rest of the studio so we felt very cautious about any cooking on the premises. 2. Talked about keeping windows open in the bathroom but we realized later the window was permanently locked open with bolts and could not be closed though bugs were coming in. 3. Though our unit had a washer shown in the kitchenette area pictures it could not be used by us - very misleading. 4. The refrigerator had settings from 1- 5 but an attached note to keep it at 3.5 or lower so we found our food/drinks not cold enough for our liking. 5. Nice deck but no sea-view ( only a tiny glimpse if you stood next to the patio hot-tub and carefully lined up some shrubs) - deck had no umbrella to provide comfort using during very sunny afternoons. 6. Only location in 18 different stops where my MacBook could not connect to the internet - phones/iPads worked fine.

We were in Unit 2. The bed was comfortable. The unit and bathroom were very clean. The location was good as we had a car. We had easy access to the nearby inlet (‘beach’), which was a pleasant area for a stroll. The neighbourhood was quiet.

The location and rustic nature of the ‘camp style’ bathroom was impractical. The furniture inside the unit was outdoor bbq type and not very comfortable. There was no running water inside. We needed to use an outdoor ‘camp-style’ sink next to the bathroom. While there were several cooking items, it is an exaggeration to call this a kitchen. The unit itself resembles a ‘sleep-out’ but was adequate for our needs.

The location is excellent, a very short walk to a wonderful beach.

I would recommend renting the room with the ensuite.

Great location, a short walk to a lovely quiet beach. Lovely local walks to views, or a bit further into the main town. Paul the host was really helpful with local recommendations for things to do and bookings for trips and restaurants. Also ensuring the hot tub was ready for us after a long day out! Accommodation was spotless.

The host was very helpful for us in many ways and got us on to the right tour... helpful over the restaurant we went to.. this place has everything one needs and very clean and roomie.. Nice and private and secure ....

I would loved a covered area....as it nice to sit outside if it rains ...

Location was amazing. The studio was very clean , every thing we needed. The owner was very helpful.gave us lots of help and tips on the area. He couldn't of been more helpful. Brilliant location.

Nothing not to like it was a very relaxing place to stay.

We loved how clean the apartment was and could see how much care had gone into it in order to be comfortable for guests. The products in the bathroom were excellent quality and plenty of lovely towels were available. It was great to have a great sized balcony for our use and we loved to take our coffee out there in the morning, listen to the birds and look at the beautiful views. We also had access to a private beach! Paul is a super host and thanks to him we had two amazing days in the incredible Abel Tasmin National Park. The property is only three minutes by car to Kiateriteri beach or there is a scenic path to it as well. We could not of asked for more - brilliant host, great location and very clean and attractive apartment. Will be back.
