Motswari Private Game Reserve by NEWMARK

Excellent food, in both quality and variety. Quality of the drives and guides / trackers were exceptional. Staff hospitality was amongst the best I've experienced in any hotel.

A very minor point, but the daily cleaning of bathroom could be improved slightly and replenishment of the toiletries (e.g. shower caps) was not always done. Overall the rooms were very comfortable and clean.

If room is shared with family there is no door to shower or toilet .

We had an amazing time at Motswari. The food was top tier and all of the staff made us feel at home. We saw some very rare animals during our safaris and couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience. The owner and manager of the reserve were also present and very friendly. We would love to come back to Motswari.

It was different than what we had seen before. That was stimulating. There was drought and the nature reflected the climate. Facilities were good, the staff wonderful.

Maybe one could do more with the garden around cottages?

Excellent Lodge, great food, good service. Staff was very friendly, attentive to detail. Tour Guide and tracker were excellent. It was an awesome stay.

The property is located in an amazing private game reserve. Our guide Owen and tracker George were fantastic, they were very knowledgeable and every game drive was an experience! The staff were simply the happiest and kindest bunch we have ever seen! The food was really nice! Diverse and very interesting! The small pool is very refreshing, something you’ll appreciate on a hot day.

The pickup from the airport is way too expensive considering the taxi rates in SA. Not sure if you can get the same value (nature wise) from cheaper resorts.

They said to us that ' you come as a visitor and you leave as a friend' as its totally true. Lola, Lot & Jon were totally missed. The gamedrives are worth waking up early. You make lots of new friends too. The food was beyond our expectations.

The knowledge of the guide, Owen. Seeing the wild dogs was amazing.

Absolutely amazing place. Great staff, beautiful program with games. We saw all animals we would like to see!

Amazing staff and delicious food.

It may have been simply timing, but we seen relatively few animals on our 4 game drives which was disappointing especially given the cost of staying somewhere like this.
