Jambo Mara Safari Lodge

Liked the glass house, bed was comfortable and rooms were clean.

We chose this hotel in the Mara because it had a gym. We were very disappointed that every single piece of equipment except for 1 treadmill was broken/out of order and the room itself was at lease 90 degrees when we tried to work out between safaris.

We had the best stay in one of their VIP room with huge space, comfy bed, massive living room, relaxing balcony in front of wide garden nature view which we really desire, a total escape, peace quite and away from city noises. They have nice variety of food in the restaurant, all inclusive and the staff were all very friendly, accommodating and kind. They are very helpful which we really appreciate. On the other hand, we had to leave one day early before our booking ends due to miscommunication and misunderstanding with Daniel in regards with our game drive. However, we had the best, unforgettable and awesome game drive. We saw the big 5 in the same day which according to them was very uncommon, so we feel so grateful and so so blessed beyond measure. On the top of that, it’s my first time to do a game drive and seeing all 5 in one day was truly special and memorable. We saw buffalo, leopard, elephant, rhino and lions. Lions - while they mating. (Can you believe that, I have video)😍 Overall, it was the best experience we have at Kenya, spending Christmas at Nairobi and New year at Masaai Mara. We also able to rent a car and we had the road trip in our life that we will never forget. Hard to explain but the experience was top-tier! It was wild, crazy, super duper intense, roller coaster of emotions, we got stuck in the mad so many times, rains pours on and off along the way. Had to drive in the cliff with only two wheels on because 3 big trucks was in the middle of a one way road without drivers on it. Our car was totally moving sideways, which i honestly seen only in the movie. It was midnight and for first timers - we are not familiar with the road. It was really extreme experience! It takes a lot of courage for a one hell of adventure!💪 My husband was the best driver in the whole world! 🤪😍 A get away to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you Kenya 🇰🇪❤️

We had booked a cottage, upon arrival they upgraded us with a beautiful luxury lodge. Daniel the tour operator was very helpful and he assisted with the transport and has a very calming laid back nature. Only downside for such a place is the vegetarian option is very limited as many vegan and vegetarian travels. Packed lunch was ok but could have more sandwich filling choices like vegetables with avocado The lodge was very clean and serene scenery out in the wilderness and in the heart of the Masai Mara Park. Safari was good also. Just some safari staff could be better trained to keep the tourists a bit more engaged. Hot air balloon was a lifetime experience- a Must !!! We loved it. Lodge Staff Facilities

The place is very good; the people there turn it to GREAT! Special thanks to Mr. Daniel, the manager of the place. After just few hours, we felt like we belong to the place for ever! Ideal place to start Safari and visit a real Maasai Village. The kitchen should a wide variety and the life pasta cooking was great.

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal super freundlich, hilfsbereit und sie kümmern sich ganz toll um die Gäste. Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen waren immer sehr lecker und der Koch zauberte immer eine leckere Pasta. Wir haben zwei Ausflüge gemacht und der Daniel hat uns alles super organisiert.

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.

Allereerst een groot compliment voor Daniel – super behulpzaam, denkt echt mee en geeft net dat beetje extra service waardoor je je heel welkom voelt. We kregen ook nog een fijne upgrade, wat ons verblijf extra speciaal maakte. De locatie is bovendien top. Absoluut een aanrader!

De lobby en het restaurant kunnen wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken.
