NETHSARA cottage

The host is very kind and generous, helped us with everything we needed. The breakfasts are delicious and diverse. Room is very clean and comfortable, there is always hot water in the shower. Location is lovely, in the middle of the jungle, not crowded and very calming place.

Location is a bit complicated and the cottage is “in the middle of nowhere” (which is also a good thing). You must take a tuktuk from the cottage to Ella city (around 10-15 minutes driving), there is a narrow steep road which a car can not pass through. Saduni helped us get a ride every time we needed.

The place is in a rather unique location, not easily accessed, but grants a great view. The room has a comfortable terrace with a kitchenette, which could be great for long stays - ask the host about the gas stove though. A lot of nature around. Great breakfast, efficient communication on WhatsApp.

The view was excellent and the balcony very comfortable. In addition, the owners were very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was also amazingly good.

Very nice and clean accommodation with a great terrace and view. The accommodation looks relatively new and very well made. The beds are very comfortable and there is even hot water in the shower if you wait a bit. Breakfast was very large, varied and delicious, the owners even cater to individual wishes and are very kind. One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Sri Lanka!

If I had to say something negative, it would only be the somewhat slow wifi. However, with the great accommodation and the many opportunities to enjoy nature, this is more than bearable ;)
