"Wonderful relaxing retreat"

It’s was amazing, such a relaxing retreat. Top facilities and the on site restaurant was lovely too!

It’s not so much a dislike, we thought it would be nice to have some sort of appliance instructions, we didn’t know if you had to turn the hot tub off at any point and the stove was a little tricky to get working but only a minor thing!

The lodge itself was very nice

The location was poor with only 1 restaurant which opened late & closed early .Own transport definitely necessary. Late check in early check out . WiFi was switched off @ 7a.m .

"Fabulous weekend in rural York"

The location was stunning. The property itself was decent - comfy and cozy. There was washing up products left which was a nice touch.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Some areas of the property were a little shabby but not enough to ruin the overall aesthetic.

"Excellent."

The Crucible Lodge at Allerthorpe Country Park and Golf Course exceeded our expectations. Was very clean and modern with everything needed for our stay. The park was excellent and was located only a 20 minute drive into York City Centre. The restaurant and Bar on site was also excellent. Would will definitely return.
