The lady who runs this place is remarkably hard working. Her food is great and good value. Everything with a smile.

Excellent accomodation, would stay here again. We stayed in the quadruple room (Ryokan style) and it had sufficient space for the 4 of us. Very good value. Clean shared bathrooms and lounge area. Breakfast is fantastic and easily worth the 1300yen.

The breakfast every day was delicious, made using very fresh and tasty ingredients. Our host included authentic Japanese meals which was such a bonus!

I loved everything about my stay here at this cozy dorm . From the private Onsen to the kind hospitality, this place exceeded my expectations. Also, I highly recommended paying the extra fee for the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious. This was the first time my husband and I opted to stay in a dorm type of hotel with shared bathrooms and a common area for everyone to use. I would definitely stay here again .

I have no complaints. I loved everything about my stay.

Traditional Japanese style accommodation with a lovely and generous host who helped us with everything, very close to Akari Swiss Bakery, easy short walk to city center. Heating worked, duvets were comfortable, fridge in room, flexible host. All in all a great stay and for a great price compared to other accommodation.

If you want first gondola in the morning it can be quite a hike (~15-20 min walk), if not then Karasawa chair is a short walk away (~5-8 min).

Erittäin herkullinen ja runsas aamiainen, joka kannattaa varata etukäteen. Nakaon pysäkiltä pääsi helposti bussilla hiihtokeskukseen. Majoituksen oma onsen oli myös todella hyvä. Majoituksesta oli lyhyt kävelymatka Nozawa Onsenin keskustaan. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä oli myös paljon hyviä onseneita.

Exceptional attention to detail. Lovely welcome with the fire on and generous home cooked breakfast. A special treat to stay in such a special place.
