Panorama Lodge and Restaurant

Very clean, rooms were amazing.. Comfy bed, heated blacket, nice hot shower.. location was right at the top of Namchee, owner and his family were super welcoming, coffee was amazing and so was the food… its very close to the view point of Everest, so getting up early and seeing Everest is a must.. had a deluxe room and the view of Namchee was phenomenal

As it’s at the top it’s quite the hike from central Namchee.. but that’s not the hotels fault, just be aware

Very nice and friendly staff. The room is big with a separate hot shower and toilet room. Electrical heating sheets.

Should look better after the cleaning of the room. The food looks great but expensive compared to the restaurants around.

This is an absolutely wonderful lodge sitting high up on the slope surrounding the center of Namche Bazaar. I choose the budget double room which was on the 3rd floor - it was nice and warm during the day with a stunning view over the whole town! During the night I slept well on the basic yet comfy beds. What set the experience apart for me was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The owner did an excellent job making sure all guests had pleasant stay, always ready to offer help. When I decided to do a spontaneous multi-day trek he lent me a sleeping bag. When I came back he helped me arrange accommodation at Lawudo Gompa - my next destination. The food - while a tad on the pricy side - was always excellent and I enjoyed all my meals in the warm and cozy common room :-)
