The Panorama Lodge has an amazing atmosphere and the facilities are top notch. Hot water all day in the attached bathroom is fantastic, and the room has nice ambient lighting. The beds are great with warm blanket and duvet. But the best is the electric blanket so you can enter preheated bed + bravo ! Facilities aside this place also shines because of the extremely helpful and friendly owner Mingma. It's true Sherpa warm hospitality and you will get some great tips about what to do in the area. Getting porter and guides is also possible. The food is great and I can't recommend enough that you dive into the Sherpa kitchen tradition. Get a Tsampa porridge and buckwheat pancake for breakfast and try the Thukpa or Sherpa stew for dinner - both a local noodle soup with vegetables. Fresh carrot and beet juice was available which is pretty impressive. The Italian espresso machine is also a nice touch. All in all I can't recommend this place enough. I'm definitely staying again on the way down.

"Fantastic Views, Very Welcoming Lodge"

10.0

Mingma was so helpful with information about our hiking around the area. The best Dal Bhat we had in our 2 weeks in Nepal. Electric blankets on our beds! Very nice. We stayed for 2 nights , breakfast and dinner both great. We were made to feel very welcome, We even met a very famous Nepalese Climber, who was staying at the same time as us, Thank you Mingma and team. If we came back to Namche we would stay again.

"The BEST lodge in Namche Bazaar - by far."

9.0

The view is absolutely breathtaking, the staff is fantastic and the food is excellent. I was made to feel welcomed, wanted and right at home. The staff knows you by name and make sure constantly you are happy and have everything you need. I will return here, no doubt about it.

Honestly, nothing was wrong with this place. If I have to think of something, it's the fact that I was only able to take one hot shower, due to lack of water. But then again - you're in the Himalayas and expectations must be adjusted accordingly.
