Location was excellent, the birdlife, peace and serenity second to none.

No fly screens on the doors and no food preparation table.

Peaceful location out in the bush on the edge of a small camp ground beside a pond. Wooden cabin on stilts with glass screens all round was lovely.

Washing and cooking facilities very basic. Several km down a gravel track, past junkyard and rusting caravans. Signage and welcome notes would help - also flyspray!

Everyone else’s reviews sounded great

It’s literally next to a camp site, they were having a huge bush party which went until 3am. This is not a tranquil retreat as stated. Way better places to stay than this

Idyllic in the bush. Was cosy even in the rain.

The flies! Isolated

We enjoyed being amongst the trees and seeing the water. It was pleasant sitting out on the deck. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely being close to the water.

The noise of a nearby camper’s generator was unexpected and annoying. We had expected to be able to walk around looking at native vegetation but there was a proliferation of invasive introduced species.
