The bathroom was amazing and the bath was huge! Definitely be back!

Nothing was perfect

The location was excellent ,

The cleanliness was not up to expectations. If I am honest it is an insult to pay money to stay in a dirty lodge . No reception to contact owners about this while we stayed . There are lots of areas requiring cleaned and maintained in the property, the shower is chipped ,and stained the shower tray too .. mildew on the windows and sills , there is thick dirt in the patio doors , the seats on the porch the cushions need replacing, , there are stains on the velvet bed which looks like splattered food . The wood inside the property is thick with dust . . I contacted the property to offer feedback on this matter , I have had a response from the property today after making contact 4 days ago , They gave no apology for having to stay in a dirty property which we paid for , only a thank you for the feedback,, however they have offered a bottle of prosecco and chocolates if we stay again and thanked us for the feedback. If this is the standard of cleanliness I would never choose to pay money to stay in a dirty property that needs upgrading.again.We have no confidence in the properties to book another stay . We are extremely disappointed and left deflated having stayed in a property which has so much potential, there is a lack of standards , clearly no deep cleaning is carried out in the property. After COVID, you would expect cleanliness to be a top priority, clearly not at the Kaoglen Lodges 2 sad and disappointed guests who were excited to stay , what a let down,! This is the dirtiest property we have ever stayed in .

Hot tub was great, comfortable mattress, the bath was amazing and kitchen facilities were great.

The lack of privacy at the hot tub, we felt that too many times people were able to walk past without having a back fence to it. The internet connection was poor in our room which defeated the purpose of a smart tv as nothing would load. Some time could be dedicated to consider small touches within the facilities to really make the stay memorable such as better lighting outside, better pillows or options (fluffy and stiff), wardrobe space. We also feel that the photos attached to the zen lodge were not accurate, as it comes across as being a detached lodge from the photos and this is not the case.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely and was a nice relaxing weekend away.

I was looking forward to using the bath, I started to fill it but after 10 mins there was hardly any water, I would've had to wait forever to fill it so I just left it and we didn't use it.

Therr was no wardrope or anywhere to hang our clothes. The patio area was not private and it wasn't enclosed so we couldn't let the dog out .We had to put her on a lead all the time . Not great when you need to get up in the night

Lots of thick dust on the white wood between the swing and the bed area. The swing could be removed to allow for a more comfortable seat & table to eat at. Having meals on the coffee table with a small ornate couch was very difficult. We visited for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and were promised a meal via email as it was a special occasion. The announcement that the restraunt wouldn’t be open on Mondays was made on Facebook after I had enquired and was assured a meal from the restaurant kitchen would be made for us to collect. My husband enquired when we were at the restraunt for dinner the night before and was told no one had any idea about the arrangement for an anniversary meal, so instead we had to drive into Pitlochry and had a very disappointing meal. We had dined at the property’s restraunt every night of our stay every night prior to that.
