Kaoglen Zen-Feature Bath-Dunkeld-Route 500

No running water twice during the 3 night stay. Paid specifically for the room with a large bath and couldnt fill it on 2 of the nights. slugs on the carpeted floor. These are rooms with log cabin designs and the neighbouring rooms are super close & you can hear everything - no privacy. Outlook from the hot tub was a muddy/weedy embankment with actual log cabins at the top half constructed.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights for our mini honeymoon at the beginning of June and it was brilliant the weather was great and hot tub was so good as well. Never seen a member of staff was lovely just to do what we wanted at our own leisure.

Room was beautiful and so spacious. I asked for birthday balloons and they did not disappoint. So pretty and made the trip that more special.

The rooms were closer to each other than I expected.

A wee complimentary tray of tea or coffee could be put in room for arrival

The decor was nice (it did feel abit random and didn't flow very well though), and location/views were lovely.

The picture of the staircase going up to the property listed on the booking is false advertising, as the lodge is on a shared courtyard & terraced so isn't private. There was also no privacy at the back at the hot tub. Only a tiny fence separating each lodge (noise travels!!) & staff came onto property around 10.30am to check hot tub. Also the walls were extremely thin. No ventilation apart from the patio doors as bathroom windows were onto the shared courtyard so wasn't able to open them for privacy reasons and also the toilet room window couldn't open due to this looking onto the neighbouring lodge. The cleanliness was really bad too. Hairs in the bathroom, dust across all the wooden chalet features and lots of webs/spiders in the toilet room. Damp smell in bathroom also. Very disappointed in our stay as the private, individual lodges at the beginning of the property are the same price to what I paid!! And I thought this was what we would get due to the picture on the booking. Wouldn't return again.

Absolutely perfect, the lodge was so much better than the pictures I felt. Fantastic being dog friendly as well. WiFi worked perfect, tv connected perfectly, nice and clean and wow what a location. I think it was a good idea removing the swing chair for the table and chairs and also adding the area to hang clothes. Location was remote, quiet and perfect, recommend the walks from the lodge to the forest it's stunning. Saw deer right outside the lodge. The bar and restaurant is great also really nice food. They also had a doggy menu I will definitely be back !!!

I can't fault anything it was perfect ! 1 suggestion, Maybe the area where the hot tub is located plant the bank with grasses or plants to make it a bit more green.

Amazing wee lodges! Clean and decorated impeccably well, very clear instructions on everything as well.

Clean and tidy, comfortable bed, easy to use hot tub, good heating.

There is a smell of damp in the large bathroom as mentioned by others. Some hooks by the door would be useful for jackets and dog leads. The Wi-Fi wasn’t of any use to us.
