Super Sweet guesthouse with all you need. Jackson is a very caring and kind host which makes you feel at home right away! They serve the breakfast on the terrace between green gardens which is really nice! Don’t miss out to try the dinner they cook for you and serve at little extra cost, it’s amazing& vegetarian! The guest house is in walking distance from lushoto city center and close to the view points you can’t miss out. Thanks for everything - we enjoyed a lot!!

One of the most beautiful places we have ever been in Africa with wonderful and helpful management (Jackson and the lady who cooked for us - thank you). The food was delicious (vegetarian), the mountains are beautiful and the people are kind. Great hikes and views.

Fantastic area, great landscape, close contact to the locals! Jackson was a perfect host, very helpful and kind, gave us great recommendations to explore the area (including a self-drawn map!), cooked delicious homemade tanzanian food, showed us chameleons, monkeys and bush babies, that live all around the house.

There is no Wi-Fi (which is good or bad - we enjoyed it). Rooms are basic but clean. They are still luxurious if you compare how most of the people in the usambara mountains live.

The host was very welcoming. We had a great dinner and everything we needed at the guesthouse for a great value.

Jackson was very nice, friendly and helpful. The area is lovely - surrounded by beautiful villages

No wifi or phone signal in the room. Very isolated from the town. After 6pm, nobody there speaks any English. Getting dinner was very difficult. The chef was away and there are no restaurants nearby - two restaurants do delivery, but we had no internet and the guard didn't understand us. First night we went to bed hungry, second night we walked around trying to find signal, to message the host, to place the order for us. I would recommend having your own transport, or taking a taxi into town for dinner (10000 TZS each way)

The location is beautiful up in the mountains. Jackson the manager and staff were really helpful and lovely.

We booked it as a private 3 bedroom house but it really is not that at all... there is no privacy. It's kind of the office/central location for multiple properties/rooms in the area. We had guests for other properties turning up to speak to Jackson, picking up their keys, ask questions, ordering food or water etc. There was also no privacy as the manager and the cooks are there onsite the whole time tending to other guests, using the kitchen to prepare meals/store water etc. This all meant it was a very unrelaxing experience with random people tuning up haha. We were only there one night and I think around 10 strangers came in and out of the property. It also meant that the nicest view thats advertised can't be enjoyed as it is actually near the public kitchen so you can't just go sit privately and enjoy. I would NOT recommend hiring it as a private house. In saying that, if you are just hiring a room and booking as a guesthouse it's probably quite nice but don't book it as a private property you'll be very disappointed...
