The location was great, the tuktuk service amazing and the people were so genuine and helpful. Breakfasts was delicious and the spa treatment was very relaxing

Such a lovely, peaceful spot just outside of Ella that we felt really relaxed in. The free, short tuk tuk ride is great for popping into town. Breakfast was amazing and both parents and kids loved the evening cooking class with the chef. All in all I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The fireflies in the tree canopies really add to the magic of the place.

We had a very peaceful stay at Arawe. Decided to stay four nights which was a great amount of time to explore Ella and surrounds, but also to enjoy time in the Arawe Retreat. It is a gorgeous, lush, tropical hideaway, the staff are very kind and helpful, it is walking distance to town (or free hotel tuk tuk) and great breakfast. The resident dogs and cats also make it feel homely.

We stayed one night in the biggest cottage and then moved to the smaller, older cottage. This cottage was decorated really nicely but didn’t have the same natural light or balcony that the other two more modern cottages have. A minor thing but recommend staying in the more modern cottages.

Le seul bémol est sa communication. Il voit les messages, mais ne répond pas toujours, ou s’il le fait, ce n’est pas toujours rapide. Sinon, tout est parfait.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arawe Resort and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, and the team were very accommodating to our needs. Even the little details stood out e.g the toiletries smelled wonderful and added a lovely touch to the experience. A couple of things worth noting for future guests: from the hotel entrance to the rooms, there is a 2–3 minute walk involving several steps. However, this was not an issue for us as the staff immediately took care of all our luggage and helped us settle in effortlessly. It’s also worth knowing that most of the staff finish work around 9pm, so it’s a good idea to have a contact number available in case you need assistance later in the evening. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Arawe Resort. The exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and attention to detail made it a truly memorable experience

Everything! The place is located in a beautiful area, full of plants and rice fields, the greenery will take your breath away! Room was so stylish with beautiful private bathroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a cooking class and dinner with chef Harshan and yoga class early morning under the sky with teacher Namal - both activities are highly recommended! We really enjoyed our stay in Arawe. Additionally they have free tuk tuk service to the town which is super convenient. The place is nature oriented and will definitely help you escape from the daily rush and relax.
