Breakfast was great, rooms were really pretty.

Felt that they overcharged us for tuk tuk trip to Demodara train station, 15 minutes ride was 2500 rp when usually would have been 1000rp.

It's difficult to convey just how good our stay was here. The location is absolutely perfect, far enough away from the chaos of Ella town but still within walking distance. Arawe is a little oasis nestled amongst tea plantations and we were delighted to return to it after our hikes. The rooms themselves are exceptional and really high spec, we had an entire block to ourselves, which would be great for families. The staff are all absolutely charming and we felt very welcome and were exceptionally looked after. As an icing on the cake, they have beautiful dogs and cats which add a lovely family feel to the location. Breakfast was great and we watched monkeys playing in the trees as we ate fresh fruit and smoothie bowls.

What a beautiful spot to spend a few days in Ella! I loved everything about staying here from the peaceful views over the fields, watching the iconic blue train go past from our bed to the delicious breakfasts (best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka for sure). It was a short walk out of the main part of town which made it easy to get there when we wanted and yet so peaceful and quiet. The best part was the pets, though. In particular my little kitten friend who I still think about all the time and wish I could have brought her home with me!

The grounds are stunning and the wellness centre is the best Ive ever seen. Our bathroom was stunning. Highly recommend staying here. Free tuk tuk into town whenever we needed it. Staff were amazing.

Personal preference but pillows were comfortable and the room was very bright in the morning due to windows and skylight.

Für uns, die schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka. Die Häuser liegen am Rande eines kleinen Talkessels mit kleinem Reisfeld und üppiger Vegetation. Sehr schöne Ausstattung und dekorative Details. Ruhe pur, sehr gutes W-Lan und außerordentlich freundliches Personal. Wir hatten das Haus über zwei Etagen, mit Küche und diversen Sitzgelegenheiten. Eine echte Oase. Super Frühstück mit Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Besonders empfehlen möchte ich unbedingt auch den Kochkurs, der Spaß machte und uns über die Herstellung der Speisen gut informierte. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

The property is well designed, the cottages /villas surrounded by rice fields. The cottage accommodation is large and beautiful, very comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff cook it while you are seated.
