The proximity to the late was wonderful and the fact that you can rent a boat is definitely a plus.

We stayed in the Ukhuthula lodge, the staff on-site were wonderful people however the cleaning was poor. Cleaning can be improved on by ensuring other areas are cleaned as well. All they really did was clean the kitchen area and make the beds if they were not made by the time they arrived. Bathrooms weren’t cleaned, in fact in one of the bathrooms Handy Andy was still on the shower glass as if they planned to clean it but it was never done.

The location

The propert needs some maintenance. Heat pump of swimming pool not working. Deck by swimming pool is broken. The braai utensils, pots and pans can also be updated.

Rude lodge manager and unresponsive host. Great views and property but lodge assist was very rude.the host / was unresponsive. They made our stay unpleasant. Freezer isn’t working properly. Asked for assistance and didn’t receive it. Lodge assistant communicated in IsiZulu- a language we do not speak.
