Uros Utasa Lodge

The whole family has welcomed us warmly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was big and very delicious! The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. We will have the best memories of the family and this place. I highly recommend it!

PERFECT!

We had a wonderful stay with Raul and Celia. Unfortunately I was ill the afternoon we arrived but they were very caring and brought me tea to help. Although it was very cold, there were lots of thick blankets and hot water bottles that kept us really warm. The views are stunning! Breakfast was delicious, and before dropping us back at the harbour, we asked Raul to give us a tour of the islands, which was amazing. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything! Raul and Célia have been so welcoming. Raul came to pick us up very early in the morning and was very arranging. Célia's kitchen was very good. Their room was very cozy with an amazing view and they both take care of us as if we were family. I can only recommend! Muchas gracias Raul and Célia!

What an indescribable stay at the Uros Utasa Lodge on Lake Titicaca. I can only give this lodge top marks because Raul gave us an unforgettable day. After he picked us up at the pier, we travelled through the reed belt on his boat. Even here he gave us an insight into what the reeds are used for. You could see that Raul is passionate about this area and enjoyed passing on his knowledge. After driving past so many huts, the surprise was all the greater! A paradise for a day! We enjoyed the afternoon on the deckchair and Raul and his wife also prepared dinner on request. Simply recommended!!!

I Love de Raul and Célia família linda

Raúl and his family are amazing! Such great hosts! The room was comfortable and clean and they went out of the way to make sure we were warm and cozy…heater in the room, hot water for tea, hot water bottles to warm the beds, and tons of blankets. They transported us wherever we needed to go and made arrangements for our tour to Taquile. The food was yummy and the bed was comfortable. We even had a shower with hot water! I would highly recommend them for a stay on Uros!

Raúl and his wife made the best breakfast we had in Peru so far; Pick up and Drop off at the port was included; Raúl organized a tour to Taquile for us on the arrival day; he brought us a pot of tea and a hot water bottle for the night; relaxing on the day bed was great - perfect spot for the sunset

The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. Lying on the divan on the deck watching the gentle rhythm of life in Uros floating by was just amazing. Food was good and Raúl gently took care of all our needs.
