Uros Utasa Lodge

The room has excellent views on both sides of the room, with a beautiful balcony with a daybed and deck chairs. Our stay was so peaceful. Raul was an excellent host, making us feel welcome, teaching us about local customs and taking us on trips. We had a very authentic and blissful experience.

We enjoyed our short time here very much. Raul and his family our wonderful people and they go beyond what is necessary. Our bus trip had delay and Raul was waiting for two hours to pick us up with his boat. It was already dark. His wife still cooked a dinner for us although it was late. We felt like home and it was amazing experience to sleep on the lake. They have only one cabin on this island so there are no other guests and that is nice to have privacy. It would be worthy to stay longer but we didnt have time. The room is very clean, plenty of blankets so we stayed warm. Private bathroom is basic but very functional, all good. You cannot expect marble hotel bathroom on the reed islands. Thank you Raul for everything and also for the tour.

Raul and his family created an experience we will never forget. We went from thinking this would just be a unique stay, to leaving with a love and appreciation for Aymara culture and those living in Uros. The bed was amazing, complete with hot water bottles each night. The room was spacious and had floor to ceiling windows with stunning views inside or on the deck. We had no plans for our 2 days and Raul suggested both a local tour (with net fishing lessons) and a larger half day tour on Lake Titicaca to Huillanopampa island - All of which was so fun and informative. If considering a day trip vs. staying on the islands, you should definitely stay here!

WOW!!! Raul and his family are lovely. We had a great stay and will be back again. Raul even picks you up for free from a port, we did the local Uros tour with him and loved it. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The owner is fantastic, he will show you the culture, fishing among other things. He has a trout pond on sight, very cool to see. The family lives on the island, but out of sight, if you need anything they will quickly be able to help. When we wanted privacy we had it, when we wanted to experience the culture we had that as well. The main bed is huge, and super comfortable. We had cell service at the property. Pick up and drop off the the port is free, unlike some of the other hotels. The family will make breakfast lunch and dinner if requested. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Amazing people live on this island.

The room is beautiful having good view both for sunset and sunrise. The front porch has one chilling lying bed facing beautiful lake. Amazing 😍 You could have your private bathroom also.

Everything way excellent. The room is sunny and spacious enough. Beds are comfy and the blankets soft and thick. There s a heating, so you re not cold during the night on the lake. The terrace is a wonderful place for the afternoon, shaded bed to enjoy the views of other islands. Bathroom very clean, water boiling hot. Dinner and breakfast served in the room, tasty. Free pickup from the port. Raul and his family are helpful and lovely.

Raul was such a nice host. So friendly. The room has the most amazing view. The host picked us up in a small harbour, even called a taxi to get us there. He offered tours (7 dollars) and diner (10 dollars) lunch and breakfast. Nice to take some snacks and drinks with you.
