Punakaiki Treehouse Limited

The location was hard to find and we didn’t know there were 4 guests/accommodation in the one treehouse

Quiet location. Great room. Nice view of surrounding bush Easy enough to find. (Directions were good)

Sharp Kitchen knife needs replacing (not sharp & too flimsy) Sat on verandah for a bit, but then, too many insects. Went inside. Was in NIKAU room (could hear tv next door). Not separated by a wall, only a door.

Location

The mattress which is described as a double were 2 singles pushed together. I would better describe the mattresses as a bag of springs. I attempted to sleep on the floor it was so uncomfortable, but there were no additional blankets pillows or sheets. We spent 14 days in NZ this was the only bed that was horrific. 15 years of booking hotels for myself and for work have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed in my life. My partner woke up with a bruise on her thigh from one of the springs being so bad on her side of the bed. Such a shame cos they clearly spent money elsewhere on the unit.

The reception never ansewers the phone

We were in the Nikau studio. It was clean and well equipped. Very nice balcony in the rainforest.

It had rained all Day and the room was very humid and we could smell the odor of humidity. We were not able to eat on the balcony and there was no real comfortable place to eat inside as the Stools were too Highfor the counter. We had to eat on the Small coffee table.

Great location in forest, like the second floor room, very clean,

A nice apartment with a great balcony right among the trees.

A bit too far to walk to the center but then there isn’t really one anyway.

Great location to explore the pancake rock and beach walk. The property setting in pretty rainforest is special experience for us.
