Elandela Private Game Reserve and Luxury Lodges Pty Ltd

This property was unique. It had a large water hole right outside the pool. Surprisingly, crocodiles frequented this! It was a bit scary at first but the advice of us being too big for them to be interested in us was a relief! Then we were able to appreciate having them in such close proximity to enjoy the experience! There were watered areas near the accommodation which attracted animals like Zebra, wart hog, dear and other animals within metres of the path. Giraffe visited. The property has semi dependant rhinos nearby the accommodation too. Our lodge backed onto a river down below where there were always animals to view. Our room was delightful and beautifully decorated. The food and services from staff were outstanding!! Delicious meals and super friendly staff. The staff really made our stay so memorable. Including our safari guides. So knowledgeable and they sincerely want to give you the best experience they possibly can. I got teary when it was time to leave…. It was such a beautiful, memorable experience with I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen war ziemlich gut, Frühstück ist ausbaufähig, Lunch und Dinner war perfekt und lecker. Die 2 Kellner sind immer zu Scherzen aufgelegt und freundlich. Die Game Drives waren alle super, die Guides sind super geschult und erklären alles. Sie kennen ihr Gebiet und wir haben viel gesehen. Leopard, weiße Löwen, Hyänen und vieles mehr. Es gibt 2 Hauser, wir waren im River View, dort sind auch Kinder erlaubt, ob die ganzen Eindrücke für kleine Kids geeignet sind, na ja. Ich mag Kinder, aber keine Kleinen Mäuse die irgendwann keinen Bock mehr haben sind dann doch eher lauter. Die Game Drives gehen von 6:00-9:00 und 15:30-19:00.

Die Erwartungen waren hoch, leider sind alle Private Game Reserve ziemlich teuer, jeder muss für sich selbst entscheiden was ihm das alles wert ist.

Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil, l'équipe est très attentionnée. Le cadre est superbe, les enfants ont fait le plein de souvenirs. Les explications des guides pour le safari sont très intéressantes. Il est très agréable de voir les animaux de la fenêtre de la chambre !

O Elandela fica próximo ao aeroporto de Hoedspruit. O hotel oferece transfer para o aeroporto na ida e na volta. As acomodações são muito confortáveis e bem decoradas. Nosso chalé tinha dois quartos e dois banheiros com banheira. Todos com ar condicionado. Tínhamos dois safáris ao dia e conseguimos ver facilmente os Big Five, além de muitos outros animais. Tínhamos café da manhã, almoço e jantar inclusos com um menu muito delicioso e visualmente perfeito. A educação e cortesia dos funcionários era admirável!!!

What can I say about this magical place surrounded by nature, amazing staff, delicious food, and incredible wildlife! I did extensive research before my trip to Africa, and Elandela exceeded every expectation. The lodge is spotless and beautifully maintained. The beds are comfortable, the linens are crisp and clean, the pillows soft, and the rooms come with great A/C, hot water, and strong shower pressure. We chose the all-inclusive package, which included a lovely breakfast (buffet and à la carte), a light yet filling lunch, and a delicious dinner with three rotating options—usually pizza, fish, and the chef’s special. The bar serves alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and coffees, and the service everywhere was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond. I had a small emergency with my son in the middle of the night, and someone immediately assisted me, guiding me safely to the gate and explaining how to reach the nearest hospital. When we returned, everyone checked in on him—it truly felt like family. The game drives were unforgettable. The guides are knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. They genuinely care for the animals and never disturb them just to please tourists, which I deeply appreciated. You can do two drives a day and even arrange a special evening drive (highly recommended!). The Kruger day trip in their air-conditioned van was also perfectly organized. The best part? Waking up to giraffes and zebras right outside your door! Monkeys play around the property, and different animals visit throughout the day. Overall, Elandela is simply magical. It felt like leaving family behind when it was time to go. I will definitely return!

Funcionários excelentes, atenciosos e simpáticos, quarto muito limpo e confortável, refeições muito gostosas e completas. Rudolph foi um ótimo guia encontrando todos os animais que buscávamos. Francisco sempre muito receptivo (falando português)! Ficamos na parte do River view e achamos sensacional ter visto animais soltos muito perto do nosso quarto (girafas, zebra, empala e macaco).

NÃO ha elefantes na reserva do Elandela! E essa informação ficou um pouco solta, pois na verdade soubemos disso pelos comentários/avaliações no booking, porém nos foi dito já na estadia por outros hóspedes que era possível sair da reserva para buscar os elefantes. Logo, sendo o Safari o principal objetivo da estadia, não gostamos da não priorização desse tipo de informação.
