Canyon Jungle Stay

Canyon Jungle Stay lives up to its name. Amazing stay in a beautiful environment. Unique and individual cottage design in a true jungle with monkeys, insects, birds and all sorts of sounds of nature. Staff were very friendly and attentive, Rido and his team are like a family. I had engaging conversations with them... Hi Adam! Hot water in bathroom is welcome as it can get cool in Bukittinggi.

The accommodation is next to the main road so there is traffic noise. My cottage was close ro the dining area so any sounds can be heard til late when socialising finishes. However I will add in spite of the noise, it is a special place. I had a fall injuring my knee badly, and Rido ad his team were very helpful and supportive for which I am very grateful.

All the guest houses are lovely and creative. We stayed in the "witches house", which consisted of 2 levels with 2 comfy double beds and a landscaped bathroom. The staff are super nice and helpful and love their games. So dominoes, chess, cards and badminton were always on the go while the friendly cat purred away on our laps. Brilliant stay, we loved it!

Upstairs room was very cramped/small. Steep stairs (almost a ladder).

The people were so kind and wanted to help us with everything. The location is awesome, beautiful and calm and central to go in directions for day trips! (Cindy makes amazing food!)

Really lovely and calm stay to unwind. The room i stayed in was really comfortable with my own terrace. The people are kind. I don't know if it was because it was off season but everytime I ordered food they went out to the market to get the ingredients. Kinda funny and a bit impractical. You shouldn't be in a rush when ordering food let's say.

A bit too far out of the centre. You have to get a grab everytime or take a longer hike up hill
