Milford Sound Lodge

A helyszín csodálatos, jó hogy van padlófűtés a fürdőszobában, az ágy kényelmes.

Reggel 9 és 17 óra között olyan mintha egy nagy forgalmú repülőtéren laknál, 10 percenként száll el egy kisrepülő vagy helikopter, nagyon alacsonyan. egyik a házból a másikba be lehet látni, egymás szájában vannak. A kültéri fotelek le vannak csavarozva nem lehet elmozdítani, erős szélben nem lehet szélvédett helyre rakni. A konyha felszerelése hiányos, ebédre az étteremben nincs komoly étel, így aki nem akar vacsorázni az csak hideget tud enni. Ennyi pénzért egy grillsütő bőven elférne, mivel 50 km körzeten belül szinte semmi étkezési lehetőség nincsen

Absolutely perfect location. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it was delivered to the room. The room was gorgeous and the bed was spacious. Loved every moment of our stay.

The milford sound lodge exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is we didn't stay for longer. From the moment we arrived Bec greeted us with such warmth and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the mountain view room and it was perfect. The rooms were so cosy and the bed was very comfy. The rooms had everything you could want and we even got a complimentary breakfast delivered to our room in the morning which was so lovely. The Pio pio restaurant was a stand out and the lamb ribs & venison was the best we have ever had. Travelling from Australia for my husbands 40th birthday this was such a special place for us to stay and we won't forget this for a long time.

the staff were brilliant , very friendly and helpfull , the food was excellent also .

Dinner was great and restaurant very cosy. We got to see spectacular waterfalls. Just amazing place.

Everything

We stayed for two nights. Amazing views. Their slogan is humbled by nature and yes indeed! The gale was great for the waterfalls but not so much for sleep quality. Staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful and kept us informed about the ( fortunately temporary) road closures as result of said gale.
