Black Bull Retreat, Barmston with Private Hot Tubs

We were here for the first time.Very nice place, close to the beach and to restaurants where you can eat. We will definitely come back:)

clean & comfy

the hob only had 2 working rings and the oven was an absolute nightmare! definitely needs an air fryer or microwave

beds was comfy everywhere was lovely and clean 3 bathrooms was great.

the pub wasn't open which kind of spoilt are plans for the evening same for the beautiful out door area to go to waste. had to go out and find food for the kids as we planned to eat there. also when we arrived are key was actually still on the door not box

Outdoor decking table n chairs could do with a clean up and painting bit

Hottub

Great property in a lovely location, near a lovely beach - 4 mile walk on the beach into Bridlington or Fraisthorpe beach is around 2 miles. The pub onsite is a bonus. With fab beer garden, seating and bar area. The cabins have everything you need. The hot tub is perfect after a day at the beach! Comfy beds, great tv with free view, kitchen with appliances and all you need to cook a meal

Whilst the kitchen is fully stocked the kettle in our cabin was pretty grim, we didn’t bother drinking our hot drinks! The cabins could do with a deep clean, little things like dust gathering on curtain poles, blinds, top of tvs, dirt and grime in corners of rooms and under couches. The bedrooms would also benefit from black out curtains. The cabins could do with a little facelift generally

The location and the fact it was close to seaside

The cleanliness was 1/10, underwear from previous client all over, No following up from reception /customer service although email has been sent and tried to contact over the phone. 2 dishwasher tablets for 4 days and 3 nights stay of family of 3
