Black Bull Retreat, Barmston with Private Hot Tubs

The Lodge was lovely and spacious.

Only a handful of jets worked in the hot tub and only seemed to be one side of the hot tub. Internet is a little slow.

Close to beach. Lovely hot tub to help relax. Quite location

There were a few missing bed slats in the double bed. Plus the light by the hot tub wouldn't turn off so we had to change rooms. As light was shining through the room all night

Quiet village, walking distance to pub and shop and coastal walks

The seating sofa was not comfortable to watch TV and the dinner table was too high for the seats

lovely location. cabins very clean

hottub was under a big conifer tree so everytime we went in the hotub it was getting filled up with bits of the branches. for a couple having a weekend away I would say the cabin we stayed in wasn't very private.

Radiator in bathroom was rusty, curtains to patio doors had mould on.. The oven display you couldn’t read with it been digital because it need replacing.. And in the main bedroom I was bitten three times on my face due to flea bites.. Did report it someone came out flogging me off that radiators/curtains they are waiting for we could borrow a microwave and they insect bomb once a month the lodges.. Due to that we vacated early and left Wednesday when we paid till Friday

The whole experience was exceptional,the lodge was clean and of a very good standard lots of unexpected little touches which made or break even more enjoyable,I will be definitely revisiting again soon, I didn’t want to go home, hot tub great, the little pub great,we took everything we needed with us food wise, but the food in the pub was basic but of good quality and taste.
