Black Bull Retreat, Barmston with Private Hot Tubs

Everything, the attention to detail from champagne flutes (I brought plastic ones thinking they wouldn't provide them) to the dishwasher tabs & eco washing up liquid. Yes there's a dishwasher & washing machine. Beds were lovely & comfy. I don't think I got the opportunity to meet the owners, but for my stay I didn't have an issue with this. Communication all came via email & text message. The decking area is secure & safe for your dogs The hot tub was fabulous & was already warm & bubbling away when we arrived, no waiting for ages for it to heat up. The lodge is clean & tidy with everything you will need for a break. The beach is about a 5-10 min walk away & completely dog friendly, however due to erosion how to navigate getting on to the beach could be challenging for some, i was advised there was an easier way further down through a neighbouring caravan site. Looking forward to returning Thanks for a lovely stay x

Woodwork on the decking & surrounding the hot tub could do with a freshen up & coat of paint..

Location was excellent as was the price, especially booking last minute!

The bar/pub looked great but was closed, this wasn’t a deal breaker for us but it did look really pretty and would’ve been nice to use but didn’t dampen the weekend for us at all.

It’s was dirty everywhere mouldy towel left in washing machine bird poo all over hot tub so couldn’t use floor in caravan dirty

Staff friendly Close to Bridlington

Lodge very warn and damaged here and there not very clean too. Hot tub water was mucky and the hot tub lid smelt of fish. No longer do food in the pub so had to go in to brid for food. Even pool table felt was ripped.

The hot tub was clean and the pub staff was lovely

There was no food at the pub and when I booked it said they would have breakfast available which there wasn’t… and also said the room came with toiletries which there wasn’t any at all.
