The property recommends to arrive between 12:00 and 14:00 in time for the afternoon tea at 15:00 and Game drive at 15:30. Once you reach Ladysmith, please call the lodge on 036 940 0085, so their driver can meet you at the Reserve car park. Please note guests traveling with children under the age of 5 are required to book a private vehicle at an additional cost.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. In the event of an early departure, the property will charge you the full amount for your stay. When booking half board, note that drinks are not included. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

This place is a dream. My expectations were completely blown. The staff is incredibly attentive and accommodating. Our Game Driver was a complete rockstar, making sure he packed our preferred snacks and drinks, doing wake up calls for the morning drives, and providing so much information about the reserve and its fauna and flora. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. They did our turn down service and thought of every single detail we might need. The food was also very good, with plenty of options to choose from. On our first night the had a barbecue, that was such a pleasant surprise, and we got to eat different grilled meats around a bonfire. The reserve itself is so beautiful too. My expectations for animal sightings were moderate, since I know that’s just luck, but we saw 4 out of the big 5 plus A LOT more. 1000/10
