Kingfisher Lodge with Hot Tub

AWFUL the DVD player in the front room did not work, fire stick with not remote??, no wifi and no signal, obviously no signal is not an issue to resolve but without wifi unable to work anything. A horrible smell when entering the lodge, smell of damp, the cleanliness of the place was not brilliant either when speaking to someone on the phone they were rather rude ‘nout I can do about the smell’ very unprofessional . Dirty toilet rolls and poor cleaning especially in the kitchen, dirty cups and plates in the cupboards.. Also the hot tub we couldn’t spend much time in due to the jets not working properly? Only 2 worked.. We actually found a sweet rapper and blonde hairs swimming around the hot tub ,We were not happy with our stay but no one to contact other than a mobile number for emergency? Which this was not. 300 pound plus for a 2 night stay with a 200 pound security deposit on top which they have refused to pay back in full due to contamination of hot tub which was probably there before we arrived as it wasn’t in the best state in the first place, not a single care or love put into this lodge, someone has obviously bought it for the income and neglected it whilst owning it. Can not charge prices like they do when they have such disgusting care, the rules for your stay was a put off to begin with! DO NOT BOOK and save your money! Not worth it at all.. Disgraceful

Lovely lodge very homely even had a few toys for kids to play with. The hot tub was lovely and everywhere very clean.

The lodge is terrible 5 min into the lodge the dishwasher flooded the full lodge the shower is broken the windows were broken the doors if you close them you can't get the open (dangerous) the fridge had no shelves the cooker is faulty poor clean before we're arrived it was all grubby and dirty no outside lights the list goes on and on and on DO NOT BOOK THIS ITS A NIGHTMARE

The log cabin was fine! However the jacuzzi was faulty also the fridge there was no shelves in there! I also had to wash the cutlery as they were very dirty! The location however was very good!

Sofas a bit worn, never saw any staff

The staff managing the site were extremely helpful and moved us to a different cabin. They were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a wasps nest in the cabin we moved to, and the hot tub had a considerable amount of debris in the bottom, however neither things ruined our stay

I was booked to stay in 32. It smelt, had not been cleaned properly. There wasn't a single shelf in the fridge, not even in the door. There was one sharp knife, about 8 inch long. No baking trays or anything to be able to cook in the oven. The pans were appalling and needed throwing in the bin

The lodge was spacious and clean. The hot tub was a great asset.

Unfortunately the fridge had no shelves which was not great. There was no internet connection either, so had to "borrow" connectivity from other lodges. Leaking tap in the kitchen needs attention as do the broken window handle, bedroom tie-back and the chairs in the lounge Also, the single beds and sofas need replacing as both a little tatty. Just a little TLC required.
