"Stunning stay at High Leys Lodge"

We had a beautiful 3 nights at High Leys Lodge. The property, grounds and views are absolutely stunning. Our bedroom was very comfortable and also had a lovely outlook. The room was spotlessly clean. Sarah and John are very friendly and great hosts. The breakfast to order each morning was delicious and Sarah’s sweet treats she provided each afternoon were something to look forward to on our return from gorgeous driving day trips to fiordland national park. We would definitely stay again.

Our only recommendation would be a small bar fridge in our room

"Wonderful in all aspects!"

First class bed and breakfast! The best! Beautiful and very comfortable accomodation, warm welcome and care from the owners, cake and wine offered, great breakfast!!! The view is fantastic. Quiet and serenity!

From the moment John welcomed us, our stay was exceptional. The house was warm, inviting and extremely comfortable. The views were spectacular. Sarah prepared excellent breakfasts and John did an amazing job providing a Charcuterie platter one evening in her absence. We enjoyed good conversations with our hosts and other guests in the comfort of a beautiful guest space. An exceptional stay in a beautiful place. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the mountains and lake. The entire property is immaculate and stylish. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, many great food options to select, best French pressed coffee of the trip. We were so happy to stay at this lovely place.

Sarah provided us with a small travel sized refrigerator for our room and there was a shared refrigerator in the living room, but a good sized refrigerator in each room would be good.

An exquisite property with most amazing views over meticulously maintained lawn and Lake Te Anau. Wonderful hosts Sarah and John. It felt more like being guests at a nice, luxurious private house. Most highly recommended.
