Gorgeous apartment ! Great location, extremely friendly and helpful hosts!

Little Escape definitely lived up to our expectations and even went above and beyond in a few ways. The hosts are very attentive, responding promptly to any issues and also offering some valuable local tips. The unit itself was as nice as the pictures, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the single lounge downstairs converted into an additional single bed and there was even a second 1/2 bathroom on the lower level that we did not realize when booking. The plunge pool at the property's entrance was a lovely, restful place to cool off and we used it more than anticipated. Also nice to have our own parking spot in a private, guarded parking area close to the unit.

For self-catering accommodation, we could have used more utensils, cookware, etc. and note, there is no oven. There were no blankets (just sheets) for the pull-out sofa beds downstairs, but they weren't really needed due to temperature. Also, when the howler monkeys make the rounds early in the morning, it is very loud -- insulation is likely not great, but I guess that is part of the "jungle" experience.

We had a great stay at Little Escape. The host were so helpful & friendly, providing us with great recommendations. The place was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and quiet. Within walking distance to a lovely beach and close to the main high street as well. Would definitely recommend.

The location is great it's out of the town a bit, but you can still walk in along the beach. There is loads of wildlife around the property, which is class to view in the morning while eating breakfast. The beach is only a 5 minute walk. The house was well equipped, especially the kitchen. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

The curtains only really work to block out sunlight in the main bedroom. The stairs are a little unsafe for children.

Or family, with 3 kids, parents, and grandparents, all had a wonderful stay at little escape! The lodges were comfortable, modern and peaceful, set in jungle with monkeys and hummingbirds, and walking distance to the beautiful beaches at Playa Del Carmen and Mal Pais. Mike was a really friendly, helpful and approachable host, he gave great restuarant recommendations, and he even lent our kids some surfboards, which was much appreciated. We felt at home immediately and were very sad to leave!
